Rozgar.online ("we", "our", "the app") is a career and employment platform for Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to the Rozgar.online Android app (package: com.rozgar.online) and to this website.
1. Data We Collect

Job listings shown in the app and on this website are collected from publicly available sources (such as employers' official pages and public job boards) and from employers who post with us.
2. Device Permissions
- Microphone: only when you record a voice note or use voice input. We never record in the background.
- Camera & photos: only when you choose to take or pick a profile photo, cover photo, or a chat image.
- Notifications: for job alerts and chat messages. You can disable them in the app or in Android settings at any time.
- Internet: to load jobs, sync your profile, and deliver messages.
We do not request access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, or precise GPS location.
3. What We Do NOT Collect

4. How We Use Your Data
- To match you with relevant jobs, job seekers, or skilled workers
- To display your profile to other users (as you choose)
- To deliver your chat messages, voice notes and images
- To send job alerts and notifications (if enabled)
- To keep the service safe (for example, detecting fake or abusive accounts)
- To improve the app experience
5. Data Storage & Security
Your account and profile data are stored on our secure cloud servers and synced with the app on your device. Connections between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in hashed form — we never store or see your plain-text password.
Profile photos and cover photos are stored only on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Images and voice notes that you send inside a chat are uploaded so they can be delivered to the person you are chatting with.
This website stores small preferences (language, theme, selected city) in your browser's local storage only. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
6. Service Providers & Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run the app:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications to your device (receives your notification token).
- Your device's speech-recognition service (for example, Google) — converts your voice input to text when you use the microphone in a text field.
- Cloud hosting providers — run our servers and store the data described above.
Your public profile information (name, skills, city) may be visible to other app users as part of the job-matching service. We may also share data if required by law.
7. Example Profiles
So that visitors can explore how Rozgar.online works, some profiles shown in the Job Seekers and Skilled Workers directories in the app and on this website are example profiles created for demonstration purposes. Example profiles are separate from real user accounts.
8. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile is removed from the service and your remaining server-side records are deleted as described in Your Rights below. Chat messages you sent may remain visible to the other person in that conversation until they delete the conversation.
9. Your Rights
- Access: View your data in the app's Profile and Settings screens
- Correction: Edit your profile anytime in Settings
- Deletion: Use Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the app to delete your account and the data stored on your device immediately. To remove your server-side records as well, submit a request on our Delete Account page or email us (see Contact) — server-side deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request.
10. Children's Privacy
Rozgar.online is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date shown at the top. Significant changes will be notified through the app.
